Originally designed for the city's general hospital and later widely used in private residences, this low armchair captivates with its simple lines and the balance it embodies between European modernity and Indian craftsmanship.

Its Z-shaped side structure is composed of three coplanar elements with subtly triangular volumes, creating a silhouette that is both sculptural and refined. The seat and backrest, made of natural cane inserted into a wooden frame, reflect the expertise of Chandigarh's artisans.
