Designed in 1935 by Finnish designer Paavo Tynell for the Aulanko Hotel, the 9602 floor lamp —nicknamed the " Chinese Hat " —embodies the perfect balance between refinement and lightness. Its airy silhouette is distinguished by a sculptural shade and a stem covered in natural rattan, revealing all of Tynell's poetry and mastery of the art of light.

Its playfully curved top contrasts with the understated, stable base, creating a piece that's both expressive and soothing. The 9602 floor lamp diffuses a soft, ambient light, ideal for elegantly warming up a living room or reading nook.

An undisputed pioneer of Finnish lighting design, Paavo Tynell is affectionately known as "the man who lit up Finland." As co-founder and lead designer of Taito Oy—the first industrial lighting manufacturer in Finland—Tynell has made his mark on Scandinavian design history with his innovative and poetic approach to light.

At the dawn of the 20th century, with the rise of electricity, it helped redefine the contours of modern lighting in Europe and beyond, blending refined craftsmanship with timeless elegance.
