Suspension 1965 by Paavo Tynell
$1,105.00 CAD
The 1965 pendant was originally designed by Paavo Tynell in 1948. Like many of his most iconic designs, it was created for Finland House in New York – one of the most ambitious and successful projects ever undertaken to showcase Finnish design. A master of metal finishing techniques, Tynell designed this pendant with a remarkable ability to infuse grace and lightness into his brass creations. Recognizable by its triangular perforation pattern – an artistic detail that Tynell used in several of his lighting fixtures – the 1965 testifies to the refined craftsmanship of the Finnish designer. Featuring a frosted glass diffuser that softens the light, it creates a subtle and soothing atmosphere.
