Starting in 1928, Charlotte Perriand designed the series of free-form tables for her Montparnasse studio. The smooth, rounded, and asymmetrical lines conveyed a new, unconventional elegance and reflected the need for a design that doesn't impose itself on the user, but rather allows them the freedom to explore its forms at will. This "free-form desk," innovative for its year of creation – 1952 – is reissued by Cassina, its timeless elegance defined by soft shapes and the warmth of the wood.
