The story of the fish carafe: Paola Navone had imagined a complete collection of tableware inspired by the marine world — plates, glasses, serving dishes — intended for a restaurant that was to open in Miami.
But when the project was canceled, the designer found herself with an impressive quantity of pieces with oceanic charm.

It was then that the Belgian house Serax had the intuition to buy this collection. From this fortuitous encounter was born the mythical Poisson carafe, which has since become one of the brand's most recognizable emblems.
